Spring Denim Haul

I am definitely one of those women that believes you can never have enough jeans. I trace this shopping “vice” of mine back to the early 90’s when the Farlow Jean trend began. If anybody remembers Farlows, they were those super skinny, tight jeans that we would wear with scrunch socks. If Gen Z could only see what those looked like! After Farlows I moved on to Big John’s and Mavis and then later in college it was all 7 for Mankind and Citizens of Humanity for me. I can honestly say I have owned almost every brand of jeans! Last week, I decided that I needed a Spring denim refresh so ordered a few new pairs. Excited to share my reviews with you all here on today’s post. Hope you enjoy!

The first pair of jeans that I ordered were the Wedgie Icon Fit in These Dreams from Revolve. These jeans did not disappoint! I absolutely loved that they were a nice, real, high-quality denim. Also, there is something about that red tag on the back that gives me sweet, happy nostalgia! As far as sizing, I would say that because of the lack of stretch if you are in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up. The jeans are such a nice balance between mom jeans and skinny jeans. They are not too drastic, so it’s great for us gals that are a little weary on fully jumping on the trend. For reference I am 5’7”, about 140 lbs and wearing a size 28.

The next two jeans I ordered were from Abercrombie. I am loving how Abercrombie is bringing their denim game on strong these days. Not only are the jeans super affordable but they are really cute too! I ordered the black button fly and light wash denim in the Curve Love High Rise Skinny Jeans. Both jeans were perfect! Although they are called “skinny” I definitely would not consider them to be skinny Instead they have more of a relaxed, slightly straight leg fit. They were very comfortable and fit true to size (maybe even a little on the bigger side but I decided to keep them because I liked the look. For reference, I again ordered a size 28 regular in both jeans.

I hope you enjoyed my Denim Haul post! I am so happy with my new jeans and definitely can’t wait to wear them out. If you’re wondering, my tee in the photos is the Ribbed Long-Sleeve Scoop Neck from Abercrombie and it is amazing. It is a great material and perfect for tucking. I got this tee in multiple colors and basically live in them these days (ordered a small and runs true to size).

  1. Reading this post made me realize I definitely need more jeans but I’m too scared to order online. I’m a girl who loves to swap, jump and skip in my jeans before I buy them, lol

  2. I miss wearing jeans! I have many pairs but I haven’t put on a pair in such a long time. I love the dark button fly Abercrombie you showcase in one of your pictures. I am a Levi’s girl myself and own a dozen pairs. They are my go-to and I love that they are always coming out with something new. Thanks for sharing this article…I will be putting on a pair of jeans very soon!

    1. Your welcome:). Happy you enjoyed it! I love that Levi’s are back in! Definitely check out Abercrombie if you like Levi’s! They have a similar vibe!

  3. I totally get that! It’s hard to shop online for jeans if you don’t know the brand! I usually stick to the same stores to be safe! Not going to lie though! When I first started online shopping I used to do a lot of returns but I’ve finally got the hang of it!

  4. I just got my flare jeans a few days ago and I’m in love with them! I need them in a few more colors 🙂

    1. I still haven’t tried flared jeans since I was in college! I’m definitely think it’s time to give them another shot!
